Some hotels listed on the Vavila app are not eligible for refunds once a booking is made. Users should carefully review the hotel's refund policy before booking.
For certain hotels, users may be required to waive 25% of the booking fee if they wish to cancel their booking and receive a refund. This will be clearly stated during the booking process.
Cancellation of bookings before hotel managers accept your booking is free and comes with instant refund to your vavila wallet.
Vavila is not a banking system and should not be used for storing money. All deposits made into your Vavila account must be for the purpose of booking hotels or shortlets.
In the event that a booking is canceled by either the hotel or the user, the deposited funds can be:
Deposits made to Vavila without being used for bookings and immediately followed by a withdrawal request will be flagged as unusual activity. In such cases, the withdrawal will be held for 48 hours for further monitoring.
This delay is in place to help prevent money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activities. If deemed necessary, such activities will be escalated to the appropriate Nigerian security agencies for further investigation.
All fees paid for property listings on Vavila are non-refundable.
Once payment is made, you will be granted full access to post your property on the platform, in accordance with our terms and conditions.
